Politics

When politicians start saying things we already believe to be true in spite never hearing of it on the news and stop trying to convince/scare you into believing something new, we might actually have a decent representation instead of a lobbyist bought shills.

These are my leanings, justifications, ideas and or solutions:

Latest Thoughts on the Republican Party:

Steven Werner The consistent trend is Republicans teardown regulations... Businesses make lots of profit... Businesses get overconfident, Lending increases, then the market crashes... And Democrats show up and fix it.. once the economy is good, Republicans can step in to repeat the process...

This happens because when the economy is good companies have lots of money to buy politicians.. when the economy is bad, companies don't buy politicians, and the people actually vote for who they want

Steven Werner After market crashes the American people got things like a highway system, or recently Healthcare that covered pre-existing conditions

Steven Werner Republicans provide nothing for the people. Republicans didn't save people from the Great Depression by making companies make more money.
Republicans didn't save us from the Great Recession either

Steven Werner Ever since the end of the Civil War when now wealthy from war spending Republicans change their focus from taking power away from the south by taking away their slaves and focused their power on remaining rich.
They're the party of business owners und
er the guise of job creators. they're the party that would have abolish the minimum wage, to increase profits. China has people working for nearly nothing. If you don't set a minimum wage desperate people will work for whatever they can. Republicans are not the party to help those that need jobs.

Steven Werner he is more salesman than a business man. I've heard that argument many times, that because he's rich he's immune to lobbyists, but no. It just means he is his own lobbyist... Doing things for himself, his corporations. I truly believe he doesn't care about lower-income, education, or the working class...

Trump has created a lot of failing businesses, like steaks, a 'university', Trump vodka, Trump coffee line, Trump fragrance, Trump of bottled water, gotrump.com a travel search site, a failing Trump Airline, etc... kind of odd and narcissistic.
His major successes are resorts and golf clubs.
With real estate, (a venture that requires only money, no ideas, no products, no innovation), paying his main source of income, he is a landlord.
His six bankruptcies cost the government millions of dollars and laid off countless workers.
Wikipedia lists the Trump organization as having only 22000 employees consisting mainly of menial custodian jobs. Real estate is about creating buildings before other people, then renting out the space. Providing more of a drain on other businesses than a service.
The Trump Organization started slowly by his German immigrant grandparents in 1918. Started by building houses, then apartment buildings. Trump was given control in the early 70s (Trump was in his mid-twenties, after successfully avoiding the draft for Vietnam). In the 80s Trump lied to Forbes Magazine claiming he was far richer than he was, and he used his new fame to borrow money to start most of his failed projects. By the 90s he brought the company down to nearly 3.4 billion in debt. Later bailed out by his retired dad and siblings.
In 1995 he claimed nearly a billion dollars in operating losses on his taxes, enough to avoid paying taxes for 10 years.

There's a reason Trump won't show his tax returns, because they would show that he's not a great businessman, not as rich as he claims...
You know Trump he would flaunt his tax returns if they showed anything positive...
Trump is a fraud. If you're making good money in real estate you don't get on reality shows...

He has a track record of failure and uses his fame and salesmanship to con people.
